Up The Road is part of the UGLii Find network of Australian online business directories. We’re able to utilise the technology provided by UGLii Find to provide Australian businesses a powerful online directory, unlike any other. All search results are geographically relevant and your business can be discovered from Up The Road or from a distance.

The real value in being part of the central database is that your business contact details and location(s) will be populated onto an increasing number of directory type websites across Australia, whose owners are focused on delivering product and service information to their local and regional communities; industry sectors and associations; cultural, ethnic and common interest groups etc. Thus far there are some 1,500 websites operational with a target of approximately 2,500+.

We suggest that your business goes to our Homepage and:

  1. Undertake a search to see if your business details are already listed.
  2. If listed, click on the ‘grey’ dot on the map that notes your business location and update your details. If not listed, use the ‘REGISTER HERE’ link to list your business’s details.
  3. You can remain as a ‘Free’ listing or upgrade to a ‘paid’ listing.
  4. A ‘paid’ listing costs $250 (incl. GST) per annum.
  5. The benefits of a ‘paid’ listing are:
  • Priority listing in the search results, which is maintained despite other competitors subsequently taking a ‘paid listing in the same geographical area.
  • The ‘grey’ dot changes to a larger ‘blue’ dot that indicates to interested consumers that they can link through to your business website for more information etc. plus it affords a greater chance to interact.
  • The ability to increase the keywords used as the number of available characters rises from 250 (under a ‘free’ listing) to 5,000.
  • The ability to download the mapping technology onto your business website to further assist consumers, that directly access your website via other online paths, as to your business’s mapped locations.

Up The Road is aware of other online directories charging annual subscription fees of $1,000+ per location, where results are accessible via a single or limited number of websites. So $250 (incl. GST) per annum is a nominal annual fee to be found via hundreds of motivated third party operated websites, spread across Australia, that broadly reach the general public as well as various ‘interest’ groups.

The UGLii Find system provides online directory services for businesses to promote their business, brand, product, service or location. UGLii Find offers ‘free’ or ‘paid’ business listings to give all businesses the opportunity to promote themselves. Every business that registers via Up The Road can be found throughout the entire UGLii Find network of commercial websites managed by various third parties, spread across Australia. The interactive map allows users to search all Australian businesses listed in the UGLii Find database.
